If not satisfied with any item purchased from The Book Tree, you may return it for a refund within 30 days of invoice date. Just return it in the same condition with an explanation of the reason why. You will receive a complete refund if item is defective in some way, being an original defect of product (i.e., book printed with missing pages; dvd skips or won’t play). For all other reasons (changed your mind; already had one, etc.), items are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Please return items in the original condition received, as clearly used items cannot be resold and may only be refunded with a 50% “used” rate. We are sorry if this sounds unfair, but our past policy of a “no questions asked” full and complete refund has been taken advantage of by people who began treating us like a library or rental house in exchange for full refunds – so our policy has been slightly modified.
